VCBW ticket sales event kickoff at the Dockside Restaurant Thursday

The Dockside Restaurant at the Granville Island Hotel is proud to host the Vancouver Craft Beer Week signature event ticket sales kickoff this Thursday, March 31st from 6-9pm. The nine VCBW signature events are the cornerstones of Vancouver Craft Beer Week and are expected to sell out quickly once public ticket sales open at www.vancouvercraftbeerweek.com on Friday April 1st. The full Vancouver Craft Beer Week schedule and satellite event ticket sales and will be released a week later on April 8th.
Party attendees will be able to pre-purchase a maximum of to two tickets per person per event. Ticket prices range from $15 to $80 per ticket, with most events costing from $30 to $50. The event will also feature complimentary appetizers supplied by Dockside Restaurant, specials on the range of craft beers made in-house at Dockside’s brewpub and over $500 in door prizes that will be given away during the night to the VCBW Super Fans on hand.
The Dockside Restaurant at the Granville Island Hotel is one of Vancouver’s oldest brewpubs and has proudly served local small-batch beer for well over a decade. The brewing program has been under the leadership of brewmaster Mark Simpson for over a year and Mark has completely overhauled the beer program and recipes for 2011. Mark brings a wealth of expertise and a long list of accolades to Dockside including 10 medals from the World Beer Championships and World Beer Cup.
